Broxtin 24

Description

Broxtin 24 contains antibiotics from the group of Macrolide, Tetracycline, polymyxin with
bacteriostatic & bacteriocidal effect due to inhibition of protein synthesis through binding
to the 50S subunit, 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome and interaction with lipopolysaccharide
(LPS) of the outer membrane respectively. Broxtin 24 also contains Bromohexine causes disruption
on the mucopolysaccharides of bronchial secretion, thus improving bronchial penetration of antimicrobial
drugs. So many of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria such as Mycoplasma, E. coli, Salmonella,
Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. Chlamydia, campylobacter, and Pasteurella are sensitive against
Broxtin 24.
