DESCRIPTION:

TILMIC  oral solution contains a semi synthesized macrolide antibiotic used in poultry, turkeys and calves. It has an in vitro antibacterial spectrum that is predominantly against Gram-Positive & has an activity certain Gram-Negitive micro-organisms. Predominated Activity against several Mycoplasma species has also been seen. More than 20 Mycoplasma species and other infections have been isolated from avian hosts; however, only 4 species are considered pathogenic in poultry. E.g. M gallisepticum and M synoviae are pathogenic for chicken, turkey, and other species.

Each ml contains
Tilmicosin as Phosphate……..250 mg
INDICATIONS:

TILMIC treats and controls respiratory diseases in Poultry & others caused by
Mycoplasma gallisepticum,
Mycoplasma synoviae,
Pasteurella multocida
Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:

Do not administer to lactating dairy cattle. Do not administer to goats. Do not allow horses or other equine access to feeds containing tilmicosin. Do not administer to any animals intravenously or death can result.
INCOMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER DRUGS:

Acenocoumarol: The serum concentration of Acenocoumarol can be increased when it is combined with Tilmicosin.
Acetyldigitoxin: The serum concentration of Acetyldigitoxin can be increased when it is combined with Tilmicosin.
Alprazolam: The serum concentration of Alprazolam can be increased when it is combined with Tilmicosin.
Ambroxol: The risk or severity of methemoglobinemia can be increased when Tilmicosin is combined with Ambroxol.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Prevention: 1ml into 4 liters of drinking water for 3 to 5 days.
Treatment: 1ml into 2 liters of drinking water for 3 to 5 days.
As per B.Wt : 15-20 mg per kg of body weight.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

7-10 days after last administration of Drug.
STORAGE:

Store in a dry, dark place between 15 °C and 25 °C.
Store in closed packing.
Keep medicine away from children.
PACKING:

1000 ml (1 liter)
