HI DOXY-50® is advance form of Doxycycline with unique characteristics of its broad
spectrum activity, higher solublity, better taste, high bio-availability, longer half life,
Deeper lung penetration, & More active molecule concentration than simple
doxycycline Hcl. HI DOXY-50® (DOXYCYCLINE HYCLATE) is primarily a bacteriostatic
drug so never cause endotoxicity. HI DOXY-50® semisynthetic belong from tetracycline
antibiotic as modern Long acting tetracyclines (t1/2 >16 hours).

Doxycycline Hyclate ……….. 50%
INDICATIONS

HI DOXY-50® to reduce mortality, morbidity, clinical signs and lesions in respiratory related
problems due to mycoplasmosis caused by M. gallisepticum & M. synovia, Pasteurellosis
caused by Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus staphylococcus & streptococcus spp .
CONTRA-INDICATIONS

• Do Do not administer to birds hypersensitive to amino-glycosides and/or tetracyclines.
• Do not use in birds with an impaired kidney function.
• Do not use in birds in laying period for human consumption.
SIDE EFFECTS

• Kidney damage and/or ototoxicity, hypersensitivity reactions.
• Gastrointestinal disturbances or changes of intestinal flora.
INCOMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER DRUGS

Do not administer together with other amino-glycosides and/or tetracyclines.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

20 mg per kg/day
• Prevention: 1 gm into 10 liters of drinking water for 03 to 05 days.
• Treatment: 1 gm into 5 liters of drinking water for 03 to 05 days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

14 days after last administration.
STORAGE

• Store in a dry, dark place between 15 °C and 25 °C.
• Store in closed packing.
• Keep medicine away from children.
