Encomix containing antibiotics from fluoroquinolone group with broad-spectrum activity
and from Polymyxin group, a surface-active agent . Encomix containing antibiotics can kill
bacteria by inhibiting deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) gyrase (thus inhibiting both DNA & RNA
Synthesis) and by penetrating into and disrupting the bacterial cell membrane results
changing the bacterial cytoplasmic permeability respectively.

| DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION | • Prevention: Dissolve 1gm into 8 liters of drinking water for 3 to 5 days. |
| WITHDRAWAL PERIOD | 9-10 days after last administration. |
| STORAGE | • Store in a dry, dark place between 15 °C and 25 °C. |
