DESCRIPTION:
Colatin has a cyclo-peptide surface-active cationic antibiotic belonging to the Polymyxin group act by disrupting the bacterial cell membrane induces permeability, also inhibiting bacterial oxidative metabolism results in leakage of Intra Cellular material & stopping oxidative phosphorylation energy process causes the death of bacteria.

| INDICATIONS: | Caolatin can be used against Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli, Haemophilus and Salmonella specially in case of Colibacilliosis, Omphalitis, Enteritis,Peritonitis, Salpingitis, Sleeping Birds, Colisepticaemia. |
| CONTRA-INDICATIONS: | Do not administer to animals hypersensitive to polymycins. |
| SIDE EFFECTS: | None. |
| INCOMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER DRUGS: | Do not administer together with amphotericin B deoxycholate. |
| DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: | Prevention: 1 gm into 10 liters of drinking water 3 to 5 days |
| WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: | 3 days after last administration. |
| STORAGE: | Store in a dry, dark place between 15 °C and 25 °C. |
